Ascension Baptist Church is prayerfully seeking a Senior Pastor called by God, grounded in the Baptist Faith and Message 2000, and ready to shepherd a faithful congregation into its next season of Spirit‑directed growth.

- Hold to and lead in alignment with the Baptist Faith and Message 2000
- Bring 10 years minimum of proven pastoral ministry experience
- Preach the Word with clarity, conviction, and life application
- Demonstrate a genuine heart for youth, young families, and the next generation
- Lead with vision while serving with pastoral humility and care
- Engage the surrounding Gonzales community as an active mission field
