Pay Range: $40 - 45$/hour. Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).
Key Responsibilities:- Lead assigned turnaround (TAR) events including maintenance and capital project activities
- Manage all phases of turnaround projects: scoping, planning, execution, and close-out
- Coordinate contractors, suppliers, and internal stakeholders
- Develop and manage turnaround schedules and site logistics
- Determine site layout and infrastructure to support TAR activities
- Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement corrective actions
- Manage project budgets and track expenses
- Ensure compliance with refinery safety standards, policies, and regulations
- Establish and promote a Zero Incidents / Injury Safety Culture
- Conduct and lead safety meetings and toolbox meetings
- Provide regular project status updates to management
Experience:
- Must have skills:
Turnaround (TAR), Construction , Shutdown, and Planning - Bachelor’s degree in construction management or related field (preferred but not required with relevant experience)
- Previous experience in plant turnaround (TAR), shutdown, or outage coordination
- Experience in refinery, petrochemical, chemical, or manufacturing plant environments
- Knowledge of plant maintenance and capital project execution
- Strong leadership, organizational, and planning skills
- Experience managing contractors in an industrial setting
- Understanding of building codes, plant regulations, and safety compliance
- Strong leadership and team coordination skills
- Manufacturing plant operations and maintenance experience
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced industrial environment
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Budget tracking and cost management experience
