The Laboratory Technician is responsible for performing analytical testing on petroleum, petrochemical, and related products in accordance with ASTM and client-specific methods. This role ensures accurate, timely reporting of results while maintaining compliance with quality, safety, and operational requirements.
Shift/
Schedule:
Rotating shifts: 2,2,3 schedule. Shift rotates, days to nights.

What you'll do:
- Perform numerous chemical and physical tests based on American Society for Testing and Materials (ASTM) methods, or accepted industry standards in multiple testing areas
- Assist with equipment calibration, maintenance, and basic troubleshooting
- Clean glassware, equipment, and take part in our preventative maintenance schedule
- Assist with preparing reagents as needed
- Record data from analysis and report data into LIMS
- Assist in maintaining quality records, training records, control charts, and laboratory supply inventories
- Responsible for complying with safety, quality, and housekeeping requirements
- Participate in cross training
