- Works with EHS Specialist to support compliance with company, client, OSHA, and other applicable standards at all company facilities.
- Responsible for conducting facility safety audits, observations, and walkthroughs, documenting findings, and helping track corrective actions.
- Aids in implementation and maintains of facility safety programs, plans, and procedures as directed by the EHS Specialist and Safety Department.
- Provides day-to-day support to management and employees on safety requirements and compliance related matters.
- Responsible for assisting the Safety Department in incident investigations, case management, and corrective actions, including incidents that happen after hours.
- Able to work collaboratively with staff and management to complete various Safety Department duties, projects, and initiatives.
- Promotes safe behaviors to help drive a positive safety culture across all levels of the workforce.
- Duties and responsibilities can change from time to time based on business needs, customer demands or other industry or job-related circumstances.
- Regular and predictable attendance is essential for this position.
- Knowledge of OSHA regulations and ability to support safety compliance.
- Detail-oriented with strong observation skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication.
- Presentation and professionalism.
- Become and remain proficient in all computer programs necessary to perform the everyday duties of this position.
- Basic knowledge of MS Office Products is required - especially OUTLOOK, EXCEL, and WORD.
- Proficiency in typing.
