Role Description This is a part-time, on-site Sales Associate role located in Gonzales, LA. The Sales Associate will engage customers on the sales floor, provide product information, and assist with styling and fit to support an excellent in-store experience. Daily responsibilities include processing transactions, handling returns and exchanges, and maintaining visual standards and merchandise displays. The role also involves restocking products, monitoring inventory levels on the floor, and keeping fitting rooms and common areas clean and organized.

Sales Associates work collaboratively with the store team to meet sales goals, follow store policies and procedures, and represent the GUESS brand in a professional and welcoming manner.

Qualifications

• Customer service and retail sales skills, including the ability to greet customers, understand their needs, and build positive relationships.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with customers, team members, and store leadership.
• Basic cash handling and point-of-sale (POS) skills, with attention to accuracy in processing transactions and handling returns.
• Ability to maintain visual merchandising standards, including organizing displays, managing inventory on the floor, and keeping the store environment clean.
• Dependability and time management skills, with the ability to work flexible part-time shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Comfort working in a fast-paced, fashion-oriented environment, with enthusiasm for the GUESS brand and current style trends.
• Previous retail or customer-facing experience is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
• Ability to stand for extended periods, move merchandise, and perform other physical tasks associated with retail sales.
