Unit Clerk

Nursing Unit Clerk is responsible for the effective and efficient running of the office and the coordination of all clerical activities under the direct supervision of the Med/Surg Director. Provide a link between the Nursing Departments and other Hospital Departments and personnel.

• Medical terminology preferred.
• Certified Nurse Aide in state of Idaho and current BLS certification preferred.
• Ability and willingness to demonstrate and maintain competency as required for job title.
• Excellent communication skills to include oral and written comprehension, and oral and written expression.
• Ability to manage a fast-paced, chaotic work environment.
• Ability and willingness to exhibit behaviors consistent with standards for performance improvement and organizational values (e.g., efficiency & financial responsibility, safety, partnership & service, teamwork, compassion, integrity, and trust & respect).
• Ability and willingness to exhibit behaviors consistent with principles for service excellence.

• Self-starter who is highly motivated flexible, professional, and accountable for the work performed.
• Software knowledge or equivalent (e.g. Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook e-mail program).
