Maintenance Parts Room Attendant

Maintains the ideal supply of maintenance parts on hand and processes necessary paperwork for items received. Essential Functions include data entry for work orders and inventory, cycle counts and inventory updates, stock management including receiving and parts check out, SAP system maintenance, and complete office filing, manage incoming / outgoing paperwork. Each employee shall comply with occupational safety and health standards and all rules, regulations, and orders issued pursuant to the Occupational Safety and Health Act which are applicable to his/her own actions and conduct.

Complies with all applicable food safety regulations and mandates.

Qualifications include strong skills in communication, organization, and proper business telephone etiquette, professional appearance and ability to greet people effectively, high school diploma or above, flexible schedule to meet the demands of the position, excellent attendance and positive attitude, computer skills required, ability to operate (or learn to operate) necessary equipment, excellent record required in safety, attendance, and punctuality, ability to stand and walk the entire shift if needed, ability to read and write instructions in English, knowledge of the proper use of all cleaning chemicals, and must be able to work weekends, and overtime as required.

Physical Requirements include frequently use hands to finger, handle, or feel, occasionally walk, lift and/or move 26 to 60 lbs., rarely stand, sit, talk or hear, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl, and reach with hands and arms, and specific vision requirements include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.

Typical Environmental Conditions may be exposed to noise levels in which hearing protection will be needed.
