Job Summary
Our client is seeking a Senior Network Engineer to join their team. This position is located in Goodlettsville, Tennessee.
Core Responsibilities- Stage, configure, label, and validate HPE Aruba Edge Connect / Silver Peak SD-WAN equipment for multi-site deployment
- Coordinate deployment activities with field teams, vendors, and site contacts to ensure readiness and smooth installation/cutover
- Support implementation and migration activities aligned with network engineering and project timelines
- Troubleshoot SD‑WAN connectivity and deployment issues during staging, cutover, and post‑deployment phases
- Validate pre‑ and post‑deployment connectivity, routing, and VPN functionality
- Maintain accurate documentation including staging checklists, configuration records, and site readiness reports
- Ensure adherence to change management processes and deployment standards
- Provide status updates on deployment progress, risks, issues, and site milestones
- 3+ years of hands‑on experience with HPE Aruba Edge Connect / Silver Peak SD‑WAN
- Strong understanding of SD‑WAN architecture, deployment, and operational support
- Experience staging, configuring, labeling, and deploying network devices in enterprise environments
- Solid knowledge of WAN, routing, switching, and VPN fundamentals
- Experience supporting multi‑site enterprise network rollouts and cutover activities
- Ability to troubleshoot network connectivity and SD‑WAN deployment issues
- Basic experience with Palo Alto firewalls (configuration and troubleshooting)
- Experience working in large‑scale enterprise transformation or network modernization programs
- Familiarity with change management and structured deployment methodologies
- Exposure to network monitoring and management tools used in SD‑WAN environments
- Experience working with cross‑functional teams including vendors, field engineers, and network operations
- Strong documentation skills using templates, runbooks, and deployment trackers
- Exposure to LAN infrastructure design and troubleshooting in enterprise environments
- Experience supporting geographically distributed, multi‑site implementations
- Strong attention to detail and disciplined execution in staging and configuration work
- Excellent communication skills for coordinating across technical and non‑technical stakeholders
- Ability to manage multiple deployment tasks and sites simultaneously
- Proactive problem‑solving mindset with strong escalation judgment
- Collaborative team player comfortable in fast‑paced rollout environments
- High accountability and ownership of assigned deployment activities
- Strong organizational skills and ability to maintain accurate technical records
Fast‑paced enterprise deployment environment supporting 30+ site rollouts. Combination of staging lab work, remote coordination, and potential on‑site cutover support. Collaboration with internal engineering teams, field technicians, and external vendors. Time‑sensitive project timelines with structured change management processes. Requires flexibility during deployment windows and cutover events. Focus on operational precision, documentation accuracy, and deployment consistency.

Compensation & BenefitsPay Range: $45.00 – $55.00 per hour (approximate estimate; final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to background, knowledge, skills, and location). We comply with local wage minimums.
