Registered Nurse – PRN Nights

This neonatal nursing position focuses on providing holistic, high-quality care to neonatal patients, incorporating emotional support and education to promote well-being.

• Applicants must have a nursing diploma or degree, be licensed in Tennessee, and obtain BLS and NRP certifications within 90 days of hire.
• Preferred experience in NICU or Special Care Nursery.
• Must be able to respond quickly when on call and work in a NICU environment with patients from birth to 90 days old.
• Requires proficiency with various medical equipment, good communication skills, and physical ability to stand long hours and lift heavy loads.
• Key responsibilities include conducting patient assessments, planning individualized care, administering medications, documenting accurately, and reassessing patient responses.
• Additional duties involve patient teaching, discharge planning, staff support, maintaining a safe environment, and adhering to policies and safety standards.
