To perform the job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The qualifications for this job description are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required
Education / Certificate- Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Must have and maintain a valid IVP Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card.
- Minimum of one year of general clerical experience in a school setting preferred.
- Must possess skills in general office procedures and ability to type accurately.
- Must possess an ability to deal effectively with matters of confidentiality.
- Must possess a pleasant personality and telephone manner.
- Must possess an ability to work cooperatively with the general public.
- Must possess a loyalty to the school district and its philosophy.
- Must be organized and able to work independently.
- Must be 21 years of age or older upon hire.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Must possess ability to work cooperatively with parents, students, administrators, faculty, staff and general public
- Bilingual communication is beneficial and preferred
- Must possess a background and experience in computer operation (Google Suites and Microsoft Office)
- Must have ability to use or to learn to use student information system software as well as other software necessary for the department
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer
- Ability to regularly push, pull or lift weights up to 15 pounds
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and ability to adjust focus
- Regular talking and listening is required
- Ability to frequently stand, walk, bend, sit
- Must be able to tolerate a semi-private working environment
- Must be able to tolerate prolonged periods of sitting and computer work
