Bunney’s Inc. is seeking a proactive and people-oriented Business Development Manager to help strengthen our presence across the Phoenix metro area. This onsite, customer-facing role combines local marketing, relationship management, events, and CRM-driven business development to drive both client retention and new revenue growth.

The ideal candidate has a strong background in construction, industrial, or commercial services, excels at building relationships, and thrives on creating opportunities through persistence, professionalism, and community engagement.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Revenue Growth & Account Expansion
  • Develop and execute strategies to retain, cross-sell, and upsell services within existing client accounts.
  • Collaborate with Estimating and Project Teams to identify and pursue expansion opportunities.
  • Own monthly and quarterly revenue targets for assigned accounts and the local pipeline.
  • Enhance revenue streams by offering supplementary services based on client needs.
  • Track, qualify, and follow up on leads from events, referrals, partnerships, and Linked In outreach.
  • Manage lead-nurture sequences and maintain a disciplined follow-up process through the CRM.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to ensure a seamless handoff of qualified opportunities.
  • Local Marketing & Brand Presence
  • Plan and execute targeted local campaigns that elevate Bunney’s brand visibility and reputation.
  • Represent Bunney’s at trade shows, community events, chamber functions, and industry meetups.
  • Coordinate and host Lunch & Learns, client appreciation events, and educational sessions.
  • Maintain CRM (Zoho) data integrity, including contacts, accounts, and pipeline tracking.
  • Generate regular reports and insights for leadership on pipeline health and growth metrics.
  • Train and support colleagues on CRM best practices to enhance adoption and consistency.
  • Networking & Partnerships
  • Build strong relationships with contractors, suppliers, architects, and local organizations.
  • Identify and develop co-marketing, referral, and community partnership opportunities.
  • Serve as a brand ambassador who represents Bunney’s professionalism and values in every interaction.
  • Execute targeted Linked In outreach and personalized follow-ups for business development.
  • Partner with the marketing team to repurpose event content, case studies, and testimonials to drive engagement.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • 4–7 years of experience in business development, sales, account management, or marketing, preferably within the construction industry.
  • Proven success in relationship management, lead generation, and revenue growth.
  • Proficiency in CRM systems (Zoho preferred; Hub Spot or Salesforce acceptable).
  • Excellent communication and public speaking skills—comfortable hosting Lunch & Learns and networking events.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects independently.
  • Familiarity with Linked In outreach, digital marketing, and local business networking.
  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel locally for meetings and events.
Preferred

Skills:
  • Experience creating proposals, quotes, or SOWs.
  • Background in B2B construction services, contracting, or supplier networks.
  • Training in consultative selling, client success, or negotiation methodologies.

Be part of a growing company that values integrity, safety, and partnership. As Bunney’s Business Development Manager, you’ll play a key role in shaping the company’s future—building long‑term client relationships and expanding our footprint in Arizona’s industrial and commercial construction markets.
