ROSS Consultancy USA is recruiting an MEP Coordinator to support the delivery of a hyperscale data Center program in Goodyear, Arizona.
This is a site-based role supporting the General Contractor project team and MEP trade partners, from installation through inspection and commissioning.
It suits someone with a solid MEP background who enjoys the coordination side of the job and wants long-term work on a major mission-critical build.
MEP Coordinator- The Role
- Coordinate MEP/F trade partners through installation, inspection, and the commissioning process.
- Review drawings, submittals, shop drawings, and specifications for constructability, coordination, and compliance.
- Support the project commissioning plan and Cx schedule, tracking against CPM milestones.
- Track testing and certification requirements for each piece of equipment through the project's commissioning software platform.
- Carry out and document MEP/F equipment inspections, logging issues and driving them through to close-out.
- Support review of Level 2 and 3 commissioning scripts and assist the team through Level 4 and 5 testing.
- Maintain progress tracking and visual status tools for MEP and commissioning activities.
- Attend and support coordination and Cx meetings, reporting on sequencing, constraints, and open issues.
- What We're Looking For
- 5+ years in commercial construction with an MEP or building controls contractor, general contractor, or commissioning agency.
- Degree in mechanical, electrical, engineering, or construction management, or equivalent site experience.
- Good working knowledge of building systems and critical facilities such as data centers, hospitals, airports, or similar.
- P6 and/or MS Project experience.
- Comfortable reading and interpreting drawings, specifications, and submittals.
- Clear written and verbal communication, including explaining technical issues to trade partners and client teams.
- Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, Project, SharePoint).
- Organised and detail-focused, and happy working in a live site environment.
- Valid driver's license.
- Long-term role on one of the largest data center programs in Arizona.
- Work directly with a top-tier general contractor and a hyperscale end client.
