2025 - 2026 Middle School Special Ed Arizona Certified Teacher - Virtual

We are hiring teachers certified in Arizona for Middle School Special Education for the  school year.

We seek teachers with a professional level Science Special Education teacher certificate who are willing to complete reciprocity to obtain additional state certifications. A dedicated support team will assist you in the process and Elevate K-12 will reimburse any fees.

• Independent Contract (1099) – no benefits or tax withholding.
• Paid per hourly session taught (rates start at $35 per session, including prep/admin time; rates vary by program).
• Part‑time hours (10–20 teaching hours per week for teachers allocated to classes).
• Choose your own schedule; build long‑term relationships with your students.
• Fully remote – teach from home.

• Adaptability – start classes throughout the semester; most teachers teach 10–20 hours per week, building up over the year.
• Commitment and consistency in attendance – teachers serve as the teacher of record.
• Maintain professionalism with students, the classroom coach, and school staff.
• Flexibility, critical thinking, and quick adaptation to ensure optimal student outcomes.
• Meet deadlines set by Elevate and the school calendar.
• Tech‑savvy and comfortable operating in a remote setting.
• Consistently reliable internet and a professional teaching environment.
• Maintain an elevated level of online organization and professionalism.

• Active, verifiable teaching certification in Arizona for Special Education.
• MUST be willing to obtain certifications in other states through reciprocity.
• Certified and experienced teaching students in Grades 6–8.
• Must physically reside in the United States during the 2025‑2026 school year.
• Daily available time block of at least five consecutive hours, Monday‑Friday, 8am–4pm EST.
• Ability to work a part‑time schedule of 10–20 hours per week during normal school hours.
• A laptop or desktop with reliable high‑speed internet.
• A passion for remarkable teaching.
