REQUIRED
Education / Certificate
- The teacher must have a valid Arizona teaching certificate for the position to which the individual is assigned.
- The teacher must be able to obtain either a Provisional SEI endorsement, a full ESL endorsement, or a full Bilingual endorsement.
- The teacher must be able to become highly qualified in the core content for the position to which the individual is assigned.
- Current and valid IVP Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card.
Communication Skills
- Strong writing, literacy, and communication skills; uses effective communication strategies to interact with a variety of audiences.
- Bilingual communication is beneficial.
Computer Skills
- Must be proficient with technology (email, Google Suites, grading software, instructional platforms, etc.).
- Must see and hear continuously and speak frequently.
- Must be able to vary from standing, sitting, or walking.
- Must be able to move quickly when needed (student safety).
- Must be able to tolerate a high‑paced working environment.
- Must be able to multitask.
- Must be able to be flexible with work hours.
