Cello Music Teacher

Music & Arts is seeking a passionate Cello Music Teacher to provide private and group lessons in our retail store. In this role, you will teach students of varying ages and skill levels, create engaging lesson plans, and prepare students for performances, auditions, and school programs. You will collaborate with store staff and school service reps to support music education in the community, recommend instruments and accessories, and maintain accurate student records.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual and small-group cello lessons to students of all ages and levels
• Develop and adapt lesson plans, curricula, and practice materials to student goals
• Prepare students for recitals, auditions, school performances, and evaluations
• Assess student progress and communicate regularly with parents and guardians
• Recommend instruments, accessories, and learning materials to support student success
• Collaborate with store staff and school service representatives on educational programs
• Maintain accurate scheduling, attendance, and progress records
• Create a safe, inclusive, and motivating learning environment
• Support occasional in-store events, recitals, and community outreach
• Uphold Music & Arts policies and standards of professionalism and customer service
