ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESSKILLS AND ABILITIES

To perform the job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The qualifications for this job description are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required
Education / Certificate- The teacher must have a valid Arizona teaching certificate for the position to which the individual is assigned
- The teacher must be able to obtain either a Provisional SEI endorsement, a full ESL endorsement, or a full Bilingual endorsement
- The teacher must be able to become highly qualified in the core content for the position to which the individual is assigned
- Current and valid IVP Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card
- 1.Strong writing, literacy, and communication skills; uses effective communication strategies to interact with a variety of audiences
- 2. Bilingual communication is beneficial
- Must be proficient with technology (i.e. email, Google Suites, grading software, instructional platforms, etc.)
- Must see and hear on a continuous basis as well as speak frequently
- Must be able to vary from standing, sitting, or walking
- Must be able to move quickly when needed (student safety)
- Must be able to tolerate a high paced working environment
- Must be able to multitask
- Must be able to be flexible with work hours
