Validation Engineer

Validation Technician/Engineer – Goodyear, Arizona (7 am – 3 pm). Flexible schedule available.

• Execute defined validation matrices and test procedures for motors, controllers, VFDs, sensors, and related assemblies.
• Support pre‑ship validation for DB / beta units before release to internal or field testing.
• Perform wiring, setup, installation, and commissioning support for engineering test units.
• Capture pass/fail results, observations, photos, video, and open issues in a repeatable process.
• Maintain validation records, testing evidence, and shared engineering files.
• Assist in troubleshooting and filter findings before escalation to engineering.
• Support engineering, service, and manufacturing teams with practical feedback.
• Learn to connect test observations to potential failure modes and contribute ideas.
• Work safely around high‑voltage equipment, motors, and test stands.
• Coordinate with engineering on readiness, test scope, and validation status.
• Support field, manufacturing, and engineering teams with structured validation work.
• Assist with repeatability testing, retesting, and closure verification after changes.

• Minimum 2‑3 years of experience with industrial electrical equipment, motors, drives, wiring, or controls.
• Comfortable working with high‑voltage systems and physical test setups.
• Ability to read wiring diagrams, schematics, part drawings, and electrical instructions.
• Independent work in a shop/lab environment.
• Proficiency with test equipment and structured test procedures.
• Basic understanding of voltage, current, motors, VFDs, and control devices.
• Ability to identify abnormal product behavior and document it clearly.
• Strong troubleshooting mindset.
• Good communication and teamwork skills across engineering, manufacturing, and service groups.

• HVAC, industrial service, or electrical/controls technician experience.
• Motor, drive, or VFD testing experience.
• Manufacturing support or commissioning experience.
• Associate degree or technical training in electrical, mechatronics, or controls, or equivalent experience.
