Manager, Wastewater Operations

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and oversee daily operations and maintenance activities of a variety of water and wastewater utility assets.
• Provide technical support, resolve field and administrative problems, and conduct field visits for observations and analysis.
• Prepare routine reports on operating conditions and asset performance and conduct hydraulic analysis.
• Assist in the management of consulting and construction contracts and in the development of water quality and quantity monitoring programs.
• Provide training and development for staff on company policies, protocols, and safety procedures.
• Monitor capital improvement budgets, adjust plans to achieve fiscal objectives, and manage project budgets, schedules, and resources.
• Coordinate projects with staff, developers, and consultants, attending meetings, recording perceptions, and presenting information.

Qualifications:

• Over ten years of experience in water and wastewater utility development or a related field.
• Five years of supervisory experience.
• Professional level knowledge of water and wastewater treatment principles, construction materials, and methods.
• Strong analytical skills in environmental water and wastewater mathematics, electrical and hydraulic energy analysis, safety, and regulatory compliance.
• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in operations management or a related field; professional certifications preferred.
• Valid Arizona Operator's Driver's License and professional operator certifications applicable to utility operations.
