Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Ultrasound Technician to join our healthcare team on a part-time basis. The ideal candidate will perform diagnostic ultrasound procedures with precision and compassion, supporting patient care and ensuring accurate thyroid imaging for medical diagnosis.

• Conduct high-quality thyroid ultrasound examinations
• Prepare patients for procedures by explaining the process and ensuring their comfort.
• Operate GE ultrasound equipment using proper techniques to obtain clear images.
• Maintain strict adherence to aseptic techniques and infection control protocols.
• Document findings accurately and communicate results effectively to physicians.
• Assist in patient positioning and provide support throughout the imaging process.
• Ensure all equipment is properly maintained, calibrated, and cleaned after use.
• Uphold patient confidentiality and deliver compassionate care during all interactions.

• Proven experience or training in sonography, medical imaging, or diagnostic radiology.
• Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology relevant to obstetrics and gynecology.
• Familiarity with maternal-fetal medicine principles and obstetric ultrasound techniques preferred.
• Ability to apply aseptic technique consistently to prevent infection risks.
• Excellent communication skills to explain procedures clearly and empathetically to patients.
• Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical imaging technology is essential.
• Certification or licensure as an Ultrasound Technician is required.
