Position SummarySeeking an experienced AI/ML Computer Vision Engineer to design, develop, and deploy advanced computer vision and machine learning solutions for mission-critical national security programs.
Key Responsibilities- Design, develop, train, and deploy ML and computer vision models for real-world mission applications
- Build and optimize deep learning architectures (CNNs, Vision Transformers, hybrid models)
- Perform hyperparameter tuning, model optimization, and performance evaluation
- Develop training, validation, testing, and inference pipelines
- Analyze model performance, identify failure modes, and implement improvements
- Work with large image, video, and sensor datasets for detection, classification, segmentation, tracking, and anomaly detection
- Collaborate with software engineers and MLOps teams for production integration
- Evaluate emerging AI technologies for mission improvement
- Create technical documentation and performance assessments
- Support technical reviews and customer briefings
- U.S. Citizenship
- Active Top-Secret Clearance with eligibility for SCI with CI Poly
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, AI, Data Science, Electrical Engineering, Applied Mathematics, or related field
- 4+ years of AI/ML development experience in production, research, or applied engineering
- Proven experience with Python and ML frameworks (Tensor Flow, PyTorch, Keras)
- Experience training/evaluating ML models with large datasets
- Experience with deep learning-based computer vision models
- Familiarity with CNNs, Vision Transformers, object detection, classification, segmentation
- Strong understanding of computer vision fundamentals
- Familiarity with Git and collaborative development workflows
- Experience with generative AI (diffusion models, image generation)
- Familiarity with Vision-Language Models (VLMs), multimodal AI, Large Vision Models (LVMs), RAG
- Object tracking, multi-object tracking, video analytics experience
- Remote sensing or sensor-based data experience
- Reinforcement learning or autonomous systems knowledge
- MLOps tools (Docker, Kubernetes, MLflow, Airflow, CI/CD)
- Cloud deployment (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)
- Defense, intelligence, aerospace, or mission-critical programs experience

Salary:
