Data Center Technician - I&A Logistics Support 2

Performs assigned tasks and escalates issues during high-volume work activity or escalation-based situations. Leverages process knowledge and best judgment to complete next task without direct supervision. Coordinates, prepares, and executes incoming/outgoing deliveries nsures complete and detailed physical inventory tracking and staging. Performs inventory cycle audits, data corrections, and various Data Center regulatory compliance or certification control audit activity. Performs material movement, including shipping/receiving and inventory management per standard process.

Ensures detailed physical inventory tracking and staging. Performs destruction of data bearing devices (DBD) following all documented procedures and runbooks

Required:

High School Diploma AND 2+ years experience warehouse/supply chain in an information technology (IT) environment, inventory management, retail, warehouse management, or a related field

Required:

Basic understanding of how to use Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Excel, Word).

Previous experience working in a data center environment.

Organize and manage storage areas to ensure efficient retrieval and deployment of equipment.

Supervisor (RMS) activities).

- Coordinate the transportation of hardware between different data center locations.

- Track and document the movement of equipment using inventory management systems.

- Assist with the disposal of outdated or decommissioned hardware following proper protocols.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $26.00/hr.
