Responsibilities
  • Assist in the adjustment works of machinery, ensuring proper tool and equipment connections during the process.
  • Monitor and react to changes in production processes, manage material flow, and verify part dimensions against technical drawings.
  • Supply oils and liquids such as cleaners and coolants needed for production, and classify and store finished products as required.
  • Maintain a clean and orderly workbench, machine, and workplace.
  • Support in the modification, adjustment, and maintenance of machinery as needed.
  • Move, deliver, and store raw materials and finished goods in Production or Warehouse areas. Maintain accurate inventories of all materials. Works directly under the supervision of Huhtamaki management.
  • Observe all Huhtamaki safety rules and use safe working methods and procedures at all times to avoid injury, injury to co-workers, or damage to company property.
  • Move material through facility with the use of material handling equipment (i.e. forklift, pallet jack, clamp truck, etc.) as required.
  • Participate in Continuous Improvement events and teams.
  • Use the computer to dispense and receive information such as product codes, part numbers, quantities, locations, comments, etc.
  • Complete paperwork to properly document work performed.
  • Load and unload trucks.
  • Conduct material audits.
  • General housekeeping in production or warehouse departments.
  • Maintain department cleanliness to AIB standards.
  • Operate Material handling equipment.
  • Participate in AIB Housekeeping and Food Safety Programs. Provide plant housekeeping support.
  • Other duties as assigned.
