FSQ Lead

Shift Schedule

Sunday-Wednesday 2:15pm to 12:45am, Wednesday to Saturday 2:15pm to 12:45am and Wednesday to Saturday 6:00pm to 4:30am

The FSQA lead works alongside and with the team, stepping in as needed to ensure maximum productivity. This position is under the direction of the FSQA Supervisor. The Lead is responsible for following and enforcing all safety, GMP and SQF policies/procedures, as well as adherence to PPE/Hygiene policies, in cooperation with the supervisor. The Lead is required to ensure that the facility is maintained at SQF level of cleanliness and process execution.

• Oversee and perform typical quality assurance tasks to support the production team and the entire facility up to and including recurring HACCP documentation steps, reporting GMP findings, communicating food safety issues.
• Train new employees on standard operating procedures (safety, GMP and SQF policies/procedures, PPE/Hygiene policies).
• Coach all employees to follow Factor policies and procedures.
• Support the production department by verifying line setups and preparing for next shift work.
• Occasionally required to communicate with other departments such as Quality or Production to collaborate and solve problems.
• Respectfully support and follow direction from supervisor or management and complete tasks with minimum supervision.
• Responsible for following standard operating procedures (safety, GMP and HACCP policies/procedures, PPE/Hygiene policies).
• Maintain the work area in a clean and orderly condition and follow prescribed safety regulations.
• Report all food safety quality issues to an immediate supervisor.
• Report all food safety and sanitation issues to an immediate supervisor.

• Basic computer skills primarily utilizing Microsoft Office and Google Sheets.

• High school diploma/GED and minimum 6 months of related experience.
• Must be willing and able to work entire schedule as we cannot accommodate partial shifts or early/late arrivals.
• Must be able to count and have basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division and fractions).
• Must have basic computer skills (data entry, Microsoft Office, Google Sheets).
• Must be able to speak proficient English.
