Job SummaryThe Assembler is responsible for assembling fabricated parts under general supervision in accordance with established procedures and guidelines. This role ensures that the company meets quality, safety, and productivity standards while satisfying customer requirements.
Major Responsibilities- Perform duties in accordance with the current Quality Management System, Safety Management System, and Code of Conduct requirements.
- Assemble sub-assemblies and install accessory components and materials, including wiring basic electrical connections per applicable diagrams.
- Inspect products to ensure conformity to quality, engineering, and customer requirements.
- Operate hand tools, including electrical and pneumatic power tools; framing experience is a plus.
- Load, unload, lift, and move materials and products utilizing lifting equipment when available.
- Read and interpret job orders, diagrams, and/or blueprints to select and position materials and accessory components.
- Complete and maintain all associated electronic process paperwork, including checklists, stamping, blueprints, barcoding, and shipping materials.
- Maintain departmental housekeeping and adhere to 5S standards.
- Ability to stand and walk on concrete for up to 100% of the workday.
- Ability to bend, stoop, kneel, and crouch.
- Ability to lift and carry 50 lbs independently and over 50 lbs with assistance.
- Ability to climb and balance.
- Ability to use hands to reach, handle, and/or feel.
- Ability to visually inspect products.
- Manual dexterity for tool usage.
- GED or High School Diploma preferred.
- 1 - 3 years of manufacturing or construction experience; framing experience is a plus.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
- Basic math and reading comprehension skills.
- Ability to read a tape measure.
- Basic ability to read, speak, and understand English.
