** Job Summary*
* The Assembly Worker is responsible for assembling fabricated parts under general supervision while following established procedures, quality standards, and safety guidelines. This position plays an important role in ensuring customer requirements are met while maintaining productivity and accuracy.

** Key Responsibilities*
* + Assemble sub-assemblies and install accessory components and materials

+ Wire basic electrical connections according to applicable diagrams

+ Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality, engineering, and customer requirements

+ Operate hand tools, including electrical and pneumatic power tools

+ Read and interpret job orders, diagrams, and blueprints

+ Select and position materials and accessory components

+ Load, unload, lift, and move materials and products using lifting equipment when available

+ Complete electronic paperwork and production documentation, including:

+ Checklists

+ Stamping

+ Blueprints

+ Barcoding

+ Shipping materials

+ Follow all Quality Management System, Safety Management System, and Code of Conduct requirements

+ Maintain department housekeeping and 5S standards

+ Meet established quality, safety, and productivity expectations

** Framing experience is a major plus!*
* ** Required Qualifications and Skills*
* + High school diploma or GED preferred

+ One to three years of manufacturing or construction experience preferred

+ Framing experience is highly desirable

+ Ability to read and interpret blueprints

+ Basic math and reading comprehension skills

+ Ability to read and use a tape measure

+ Basic ability to read, speak, and understand English

+ Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality

+ Dependable attendance and punctuality

+ Ability to safely use hand and power tools

** Physical Requirements*
* Candidates must be able to:

+ Stand and walk on concrete for up to 100% of the workday

+ Bend, stoop, kneel, and crouch

+ Lift and carry up to 50 pounds independently

+ Lift or move items weighing more than 50 pounds with assistance

+ Climb and maintain balance

+ Reach, handle, and feel with hands

+ Visually inspect products for quality and accuracy

+ Demonstrate manual dexterity for tool operation and assembly tasks
