Location and Shift

Osborn Medical Center – 7400 E Osborn Rd, Scottsdale, AZ 85251. Full‑time night shift, 72 hours per week.

• At least 1 year of RN experience required.
• Neuro background preferred.

The RN’s practice is guided by the ANA Standard for Professional Nursing and the Code of Ethics.

Key duties include:

• Record patient medical history and symptoms, perform diagnostic tests, analyze results, operate medical equipment, and administer treatments and medications.
• Establish or contribute to patient care plans, including medication administration, IV line management, therapies, and monitoring.
• Consult with physicians and other clinicians and provide education to patients and families about disease management, post‑treatment care, nutrition, and exercise.
• Delegate responsibilities to licensed practical nurses and nursing aides and provide direction when appropriate.
• Precept new hires and students, assisting them in completing competency tasks.
• Continuously enhance nursing knowledge and skills in patient care management.

• Collect health data systematically and prioritize based on patient needs.
• Analyze assessment data and develop evidence‑based, family‑centered care plans.
• Identify expected outcomes and monitor progress.
• Implement interventions, including medications and emergency measures.
• Document observations, interventions, and therapeutic measures.
• Evaluate own practice against professional standards and regulations.
• Integrate ethical principles and cultural diversity into care.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team and patients/families.
• Contribute to professional development and evidence‑based practice improvements.
• Consider safety, effectiveness, and cost in patient care delivery.

• Diploma or Associate’s Degree in Nursing; must complete a BSN within 60 months of hire or have 5+ years RN experience.
• Bachelor’s in Nursing (BSN) preferred.

• At least 10 months in a medical‑surgical or acute specialty setting required.
• One year RN experience required for all float positions.

• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Arizona (or applicable compact).
• National certification for unit‑specific patient populations preferred.
• Additional specialty certifications as required by unit.
