- Collaborate with Physicians to evaluate patient readiness for change in level of care.
- Assess, treat, care for and educate ICU, Medical Surgical, and telemetry patients as necessary.
- Conduct risk assessment, prevention and treatment of pressure injury.
- Interpret and operate cardiac and other invasive and non‑invasive monitors, recognize normal/abnormal rhythms/trends, and institute appropriate interventions.
- Care for patients with complex needs including hemodynamically compromised and mechanically ventilated patients.
- Initiate and maintain complex IV therapy, including thrombolytic administration, vasoactive medications, central IV catheters, dialysis catheters, and arterial lines.
- Use less invasive, life‑supporting modalities such as BiPAP, ETCO2, arterial pressure‑based CO/CI & SVO2 monitors, core temperature monitors.
- Care for patients with IV lines, arterial lines, central lines, ports, chest tubes, pleural catheters, tracheostomy tubes and endotracheal tubes.
- Maintain and care of patients with an ostomy/ileostomy and urostomy.
- Care for, assess and monitor patients with Patient Controlled Analgesia (PCA) and epidural catheters.
- Demonstrate basic knowledge of chemotherapeutic/immunotherapeutic agents.
- Work two 12‑hour shifts, 7:00 p.m.–7:30 a.m.
- At least 1 year of experience in ICU/Inpatient nursing.
- Associate Degree in Nursing or equivalent.
- Arizona Registered Nurse License or a Registered Nurse License from a Compact State.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification. Must have BLS upon hire or complete an on‑site initial BLS course within 30 days.
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) Certification. Must obtain ACLS within 30 days and renew every two years.
- Oncology Nursing Society (ONS) Fundamentals of Chemotherapy/Immunotherapy Administration Card within 6 months and renew every two years.
