Seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) specialized in Labor and Delivery to provide professional, patient-centered nursing care in a fast-paced hospital environment.
Responsibilities include assessing patients' physical, psychosocial, spiritual, educational, cultural, safety, and discharge needs, developing individualized care plans, and implementing medical and nursing orders.
The role involves coordinating care with interdisciplinary teams, acting as a shift supervisor when needed, and participating in hourly rounding to ensure quality and safety.
Candidates must have a nursing degree from an accredited school, an active RN license in the state, and certifications such as CPR and ACLS.
Additional requirements include advanced fetal monitoring skills (or willingness to obtain within six months), and experience in labor and delivery; neonatal ICU experience is preferred.
Essential skills include effective communication, teamwork, adaptability to high-pressure situations, and basic computer proficiency.
Preferred qualifications include a BSN and specialized certifications in maternal-child health or related fields.
