What You'll Do:
Applying your established expertise and ambition to contribute to our development, you will support our team in our focus to cultivate product of the highest quality, food safety, and organic standards to sustain the long-term success of our fresh produce business.

  • Develop and implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure proper compliance with regulations to successfully reach company goals.
  • Execute various mock audit and recall exercises to ensure and improve team readiness.
  • Oversee all requirements throughout all operations and supplier approval processes are in place and accurately documented to meet regulatory standards.
  • Vigilance in company process as well as best suited current and future opportunities for food safety and process improvements.

What We're Looking For:

  • Bachelor of Science degree, preferably in Food Science or related field.
  • Preferred HACCP and PCQI certification along with advanced knowledge in organic certifications.
  • Recognized experience in food safety and quality assurance standards, including LGMA, NOP, FSMA, GFSI, Global

    GAP.
  • Valuable knowledge in traceability and document management systems as well as computer programs such as Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
  • Profound strength in leadership competencies and analytical approaches implemented in all business activities.
  • Ability to travel regionally or nationally as needed and occasionally perform physically demanding tasks.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish with exemplary communication skills.
