General Summary
The Quality Associate/Inspector tests product batches, audits, and monitors manufacturing processes to ensure compliance with customer specifications and quality standards. Tests production maintains Certificates of Analysis (COA) from suppliers.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Perform first-piece, in-process, final, and receiving inspections to ensure compliance with specifications and tolerances.
- Use precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, depth gauges, and other inspection tools.
- Document inspection results, discrepancies, and corrective actions in accordance with established quality management systems.
- Maintain and complete all required Quality Control documentation accurately and in a timely manner.
- Generate non-conformance and defect reports as required.
- Analyze inspection data and prepare detailed quality reports for management review.
- Maintain and calibrate inspection tools and equipment.
- Other duties as assigned.
