Customer Service Representative

Position Overview

The Customer Service Representative (CSR) empowers our customers to build, manage, and grow successful landscape businesses by sharing product knowledge, providing recommendations, and demonstrating exceptional service while maintaining a positive attitude.

Horizon Goodyear, AZ - 13920 W. El Cielo, Goodyear, Arizona. Pay:
Competitive hourly rate and up to $2,500 through performance bonuses in the summer.

Work Hours:

Monday‑Friday 8am‑4pm and some Saturdays 8am‑12pm.

• Eagerly greet walk‑in and phone customers, listening to understand their needs and challenges.
• Treat customers as business partners, recommending product solutions, upsell options, and complementary items to improve profitability.
• Collaborate with team members and utilize all company resources to sell Horizon's value and provide the best service and experience possible.
• Prepare sales orders and assist customers in selecting and loading merchandise.
• Make follow‑up calls to potential and existing customers to introduce opportunities and solicit additional business.
• Resolve customer complaints professionally and in a timely manner.
• Maintain a clean, well‑organized, and well‑stocked sales center.
• Assist in receiving, shipping, and general warehouse duties.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Strong customer‑service attitude, self‑motivated, detail‑oriented, and able to thrive in a fast‑paced environment.
• Excellent communication skills, both spoken and written, and the ability to ask clarifying questions and think critically to identify solutions.
• Cooperative, dependable team player.
• Good computer and record‑keeping skills, and aptitude to learn evolving systems, programs, handheld technology, and processes.
• Ability to frequently lift and move items up to 20 pounds and occasionally up to 75 pounds; forklift certification required or ability to obtain it.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.

• High school diploma or GED.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish).
• Experience with irrigation and knowledge of other landscape products.
