Merchandise Processor

POSITION SUMMARY:
Perform all aspects of loading/unloading, picking/packing/unpacking, ticketing, distributing, counting, and filling orders.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

• Pick, induct, sort, and pack orders using RF technology and computers/scanners
• Unpack merchandise from cartons and separate by color, size, and style
• Count, record, and verify quantities of merchandise to fill orders
• Pull merchandise from multiple levels of shelving or move merchandise to open areas in plastic totes or cardboard boxes
• Must be able to work in all departments performing various functions of the Merchandise Processor position on a regular, consistent basis
• Must be able to perform physical requirements (described below) on a regular, consistent basis
• Must meet monthly production and quality standards
• Reliable and consistent attendance

  • Gripping 26-34 lbs.
  • Push/Pull 1-15 lbs.
• OCCASIONAL (1% TO 33%)
  • Lifting 36 to 50 lbs. to 32”
  • Carry 1-35 lbs. up to 50 ft.
  • Gripping 35 lbs.
  • Pinching 2-6 lbs.
  • Pulling 1-25 lbs.

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Ticket merchandise
• Make boxes
• Complete all paperwork in an accurate and neat manner
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment
• Perform other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS:

• High school education or equivalent
• Ability to perform basic math skills accurately including addition, subtraction, and multiplication
• Must be able to fill out paperwork and forms neatly and accurately
