22nd Century Technologies is seeking a driven and relationship-focused Account Manager / Regional Manager to support and expand our presence across Arizona and Southern California
. This role will be responsible for managing existing client relationships, identifying new business opportunities, supporting contract growth, and strengthening 22nd Century’s footprint across public sector and commercial accounts in the region.
The ideal candidate should have strong business development experience, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work closely with clients, internal delivery teams, recruiting teams, and executive leadership to drive account success.
Key Responsibilities- Develop, manage, and grow client relationships across Arizona and Southern California.
- Identify new business opportunities within state, local, education, healthcare, and commercial accounts.
- Support account growth through staffing, IT services, managed services, consulting, and project-based solutions.
- Build relationships with procurement officers, program managers, hiring managers, department leaders, and key decision-makers.
- Manage client communication, account reviews, issue resolution, and service delivery coordination.
- Work closely with recruiting, operations, contracts, and leadership teams to ensure successful delivery and client satisfaction.
- Monitor upcoming opportunities, solicitations, contract vehicles, agency priorities, and regional market trends.
- Support proposal, pricing, and solution discussions for new and existing opportunities.
- Represent 22nd Century Technologies in client meetings, networking events, conferences, and industry engagements.
- Track account activity, pipeline, client feedback, and revenue growth opportunities.
- Other job responsibilities as assigned
- 3+ years of experience in account management, business development, client relations, staffing, IT services, managed services, consulting, or government contracting.
- Experience working with public sector clients, staffing contracts, IT services, or professional services is strongly preferred.
- Strong understanding of client relationship management, sales pipeline development, and service delivery coordination.
- Ability to manage multiple accounts, priorities, and client requirements in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to travel within Arizona, Southern California and other States as needed.
