Business Development Manager – Remote/Field-Based

60% travel expected.

Overview

The Business Development Manager will drive new product commercialization, lead strategic marketing initiatives, and work closely with cross‑functional teams to develop and execute segment‑specific plans.

Responsibilities
  • Support new product commercialization.
  • Plan and oversee new product launches across multiple strategic business units.
  • Lead and execute comprehensive segment‑specific marketing and development plans.
  • Develop demand and sales for products by investigating and resolving customer problems, recommending product line modifications, and coordinating with the sales force.
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to establish deadlines and new product roadmaps.
  • Simplify procedures for launching new products and identify opportunities to drive growth.
  • Educate and communicate to the salesforce about new products.
  • Develop marketing vision, strategies, and tactics, including long‑range business plans and actions.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree (preferred Business Management or Engineering).
  • 10+ years of experience in sales, marketing, or a related field.
  • Strong ability to build relationships and work effectively at all organizational levels to drive strategy.
  • Experience in influencing owners and creating procedures and protocols.
  • Skilled at building and aligning a team with the overall strategic plan, accountable for results, and giving credit for successes.
  • Ability to collaborate with internal team members to resolve end‑user problems within the region.
Compensation

Total Target Cash Compensation range: $ – $. Eligible for a sales incentive plan or commission, plus potential annual merit increases.
