Responsibilities
  • The Molecular Account Executive will ensure assigned territory meets or exceeds Diasorin sales objectives. Work with Regional Sales Director to identify and evaluate market opportunities and sales potential, and establish and achieve sales objectives within assigned accounts. Negotiate contracts with customers, and drive high customer satisfaction through collaboration with support teams.
  • Territory includes New Mexico and Arizona. Ideal candidate will live in Phoenix or Tucson area.
  • Lead the development of key stakeholder relationships, scientific and executive, that enhance the overall value for our customers to conduct business with Diasorin that enables profitable growth.
  • Lead and direct the development and implementation of specific territory strategies and tactics that achieve overall annual growth objectives.
  • Develop long-term customer alliances to support capital sales activities: prospecting, qualifying, account management, and providing sales support to the customer base.
  • Work with the Mdx Regional Sales Director, Strategic Account team (as necessary), and other relevant functions to define territory segment strategies and tactics for all Infectious Disease, Genetics and product lines.
  • Act as project manager to drive sales and marketing activities directly with Diasorin customers, including technical education and training, collaborative meetings, collateral utilization, outreach opportunities, and research opportunities.
  • Responsible for promotion, pricing, and positioning of Diasorin molecular portfolio.
  • Execute customer experiences and events designed to grow or stabilize regional and national market development.
  • Forecast and manage territory data in ; prepare territory business plans and reports to achieve sales quota and product mix objectives.
  • Meet or exceed annual revenue goals by developing and executing regional business plans aligned with account strategies and regional drivers.
  • Demonstrate ownership and accountability in the coordination and deployment of all Diasorin resources according to the business plan.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with internal and external customers; collaborate with Molecular Applications Specialists, Strategic Accounts, and Scientific Affairs to grow reagent sales.
  • Travel may be required at least 70% of the time.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree required (B.A./B.S.); B.S. preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in a healthcare-related field (diagnostics, pharmaceutical, or consulting) with at least 3–5 years in sales and marketing (Molecular preferred).
  • Demonstrated leadership experience and familiarity with key accounts in defined territory.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a track record of building internal and external relationships.
  • Knowledge of market and industry drivers; ability to interpret and apply implications to the industry.
  • Business acumen, negotiation skills, and strategic thinking.
