- Drive the development of electronic product sales in a defined geography
- Provide pre-sales product and application support
- Provide basic feature-benefit and application sales training to sales engineers and selected customers
- Support sales of motion controllers, electric drives, actuators, and PLCs through Festo Sales Engineers, Industry Segment Managers, and selected distribution
- Maintain working knowledge of new products and their applications
- Work closely with US Product Management, Industry Segment Managers, District Sales Managers, and E-Drives application engineers
- Travel for training, customer sites/visits, or company business events
- Work additional hours beyond normal business hours when necessary
- BS-EE or equivalent
- 3-5 years of field experience sizing/selecting and commissioning servo and stepper systems in an industrial environment
- Technical knowledge
- Knowledge of electronic products, customers, market/industry segments, and Festo as a company
- English language skills
- Computer literacy
- Experience with servo and stepping motor drives and controls, mechanical ball screw and belt drive actuators, PLCs, HMIs, and CPX valve manifolds
- Knowledge of typical applications
- Special industry-segment experience in automotive, semiconductor, photovoltaic, food and beverage, or end-line packaging
Demonstrates expertise in electronic product sales, providing pre-sales support, and delivering training on motion controllers, electric drives, and PLCs. Possesses strong technical knowledge and field experience in sizing and commissioning servo and stepper systems within various industry segments.
