Security Officer - Operations Campus

As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a high-profile data center location, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication. • Thur: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Fri: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access protocols, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a data center location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, documenting observations and reporting security‑related concerns to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility, including interior spaces, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter points, noting unusual activity and helping to deter unauthorized access.
• Monitor entry and exit activity, verify credentials and/or visitor information, and support established check‑in processes for personnel, contractors, and deliveries.
• Assist with inspecting gates, doors, fencing, lighting, and other access points for irregularities, and communicate maintenance and/or security‑related issues according to site procedures.

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• A current guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
