An Electrical Apprentice (YR 2 & YR 3 needed) works under the supervision of licensed electricians to gain hands‑on experience and knowledge in the field. The role is responsible for performing a variety of electrical tasks including installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures.

Goodyear, Arizona.

$25 to $28 per hour for Electrical Apprentices. Final pay is based on experience and skill level.

Monday – Friday – 5/10 Schedule.

• Help install and repair wiring systems, electrical fixtures, and equipment.
• Installing conduits including bending, cutting and threading up to 4-inch diameter rigid steel to hold electrical wires and cables.
• Replacing conduit, wiring, and circuit breakers as needed.
• Installing conductors, terminating (SES, panel boards, motor controls, PLCs, instruments, and junction boxes).
• Learn to read and interpret electrical and instrumentation drawings, blueprints, and electrical codes.
• Have good basic understanding of NFPA
  70E and the NEC.

• Education:
  
  Must be enrolled in an accredited electrical apprenticeship program or willing to enroll once hired. PCL will sponsor you in an apprenticeship program.
• Basic Knowledge:
  Understanding of electrical systems and safety protocols.
• Communication:
  Good communication skills for effective collaboration and learning.
• Physical Requirements:
  
  Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions, including rugged terrain and construction sites. Capable of performing tasks such as lifting, standing, and walking for extended periods.
