• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• 2 years of experience as a Lead Technician or in a related field.
• Reliable transportation and working cell phone.
• The ability to work on‑call.
• Extensive knowledge in the following areas:
  Plumbing, Electrical, Pool Maintenance, HVAC, Carpentry, Landscape Maintenance, Appliances, and OSHA‑related standards.
• HVAC, EPA, CPO, OSHA, or graduation from related trade school.
• Able to provide mentorship and actively engage with the Service Technician team.
• Knowledge of building systems.
• Able to demonstrate highest level of technical proficiency.
• Basic computer skills required for reporting.

• Travel to various communities in the Central 100 Portfolio, providing assistance as needed.
• Assist in the completion of make‑ready units to Mark‑Taylor standards and maintain adequate supply of make‑ready units for the Community.
• Train members of the service team within Central 100.
• Serve as the secondary leader for the overall upkeep of the community as it pertains to maintenance & grounds cleanliness.
• Oversee and execute the hands‑on maintenance duties necessary to maintain and enhance the value of the community. This includes consistent inspections and diagnosing problems and making necessary repairs in areas such as HVAC, electrical, plumbing, pool, flooring, carpentry, dry‑walling, appliances, and exterior structures.
• Assist with scheduling of contractors/vendors as needed for repairs.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose and correct minor air conditioning and/or heating failures, appliance repairs, electrical problems, plumbing problems, minor carpentry, and drywall repairs.
• Perform necessary repairs and preventative maintenance on vacant units as they become available.
• Perform daily pool care, assure pool is in proper chemical balance and area is free of safety concerns.
• Complete minor roof repairs, re‑key locks, and cut keys.
• Inspect the property for safety hazards that may pose a liability and correct the hazard to inform the Associate Director of Concierge Services of the hazard.
• Share on‑call duty with Central 100 service team members and be readily available to go to the property if needed and in uniform/badge.
• Maintain an excellent customer service relationship with all residents and team members.
• Assist in monitoring inventory of parts and cleaning supplies.
• Demonstrate an ability to support and contribute to the community team.
• Adhere to Mark‑Taylor Residential Safety Programs, policies, and procedures.
• Other duties as assigned.
