The Maintenance Worker works under the guidance and direction of the Facility Manager or designee of the Echo Cliffs Health Center. Incumbent is issued tools, supplies, and equipment as required to complete the work assignments. Employee attends department meetings and work schedules may consist of evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays; may also be subject to call-back after hours.

High School Diploma or GED

Must have two (2) years of general work experience in Facilities Maintenance

Must have a current, unrestricted, valid state driver’s license

The incumbent is frequently (½ the time at work) required to perform heavy lifting weighing up to and at times beyond 75 pounds. The position does require theprolonged (3/4 of work time) ability to lift upto 50 pounds and occasionally (less than ¼ of work time) over 100 pounds. The work normally requires extensive prolonged times of standing and the ability to maintain balance.

The duties of this position require the ability to occasionally sit.
