Warehouse Support Associate 1st Shift

Position Description

Ryder is hiring Temporary to Permanent Warehouse Associates in Goodyear, Arizona – offering weekly pay and a career you can feel good about.

Hourly Pay: $18.00 per hour. Overtime Pay: $27.00 per hour.

Schedule:

Monday–Tuesday & Friday–Saturday 6:00 am–4:30 pm, overtime as needed.

• Package, kit, and assemble orders and materials.
• Load and unload inbound/outbound trailers; ensure all scanning is completed correctly; help train dock employees on new procedures.
• Secure facility at end of shift; investigate and resolve scanning issues and housekeeping.
• Perform picking and packing duties; check for evidence of product or container damage.
• Execute assigned tasks as described in location policies, handling materials within associated logical transactions.
• Perform material moves with associated physical/logical transactions as required.
• Participate in workgroup and team activities for continuous improvement of warehouse operations.
• Perform housekeeping duties for assigned area.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Six months of related warehouse experience required; one year or more preferred.
• Intermediate-level experience operating powered industrial trucks (forklifts, cherry pickers, pallet jacks) and maintaining them; powered industrial truck certification.
• Intermediate-level experience operating manual and/or automated warehouse equipment (e.g., packaging line) preferred.
• Ability to read, perform basic mathematics in English for safety, work instructions, policies.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted.
• Ability to input data into WMS computer systems in use.
• Work overtime as assigned.
• Ability to create and maintain professional relationships at all levels of the organization.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Flexibility, self‑driven, and fast‑paced work capability.
• Multi‑tasking, highly organized, excellent time‑management skills.
• Detail-oriented with excellent follow‑up practices.
