Installs, operates, maintains, repairs and modifies equipment. Performs a variety of maintenance and technical support on products such as equipment, integrated systems and subsystems, and software at customer and/or field locations. Analyzes and evaluates products and related performance. Troubleshoots and diagnoses malfunctions to eliminate problems in minimum time. Installs, upgrades and removes products ensuring coordinative engineering field change. Maintains effective customer communications and relations.

May provide onsite training of customer support personnel.

• Install, operate, maintain, repair, and modify equipment.
• Perform maintenance and technical support on equipment, integrated systems and subsystems, and software at customer and/or field locations.
• Analyze and evaluate product performance.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose malfunctions to eliminate problems as quickly as possible.
• Install, upgrade, and remove products while coordinating engineering field changes.
• Maintain effective customer communications and relationships.
• Provide onsite training of customer support personnel as needed.

• Associate’s Degree and 1 year of relevant experience.
• One of the following may be used as equivalent to an Associate’s Degree to meet minimum qualifications:
  • NNS Apprentice School graduate
  • Navy Nuclear Power School (NNPS) graduate
  • High School/GED and 2 years of related manufacturing, shipbuilding, trades, military experience
  • High School/GED and 4 years of non‑related manufacturing, shipbuilding, trades, military experience
