Senior IT Technician – Goose Creek, SC

Berkeley Staffing is seeking skilled and experienced Senior IT Technicians to join our team on a part‑time basis. In this role, you will collaborate with other IT professionals to provide onsite support, installation services, and a variety of IT‑related tasks for our diverse client base. Travel:
Required between multiple sites

• Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to networks, hardware, and software.
• Install, configure, and maintain IT infrastructure, including operating systems and network solutions.
• Manage Active Directory, Microsoft applications, and Windows/Server OS environments.
• Utilize Microsoft Power Shell or similar command‑line applications for system administration.
• Work with Linux operating systems and perform tasks via command‑line and terminal access.
• Use hand tools, power tools, and network testing equipment for various IT tasks.
• Ensure proper transportation and secure handling of tools and equipment.
• Provide clear communication and documentation to clients and team members.
• Follow IT principles, standards, and practices to deliver high‑quality service.

• Associate’s degree or higher in an IT‑related field such as computer science, technical support, or information technology is highly preferred.
• 3 to 5 years of experience in computer networks, operating systems, or other IT‑related roles.
• Proficiency with Active Directory, Microsoft applications, Microsoft Power Shell, Windows/Server OS, and Linux OS.
• Familiarity with command‑line interfaces and terminal access is preferred.
• Strong problem‑solving, time‑management, and organizational skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• CompTIA A+ and Network+ certifications are preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 15 lbs and perform hands‑on tasks.
• Reliable transportation and willingness to travel between job sites; a valid South Carolina driver’s license and evidence of insurance are required.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
• Work with a variety of clients and IT environments, gaining valuable experience.
