Exceptional opportunity for experienced cardiovascular operating room nurses specializing in open-heart procedures. This contract role is based in Goose Creek, South Carolina, and offers the chance to provide critical surgical care within a high-performing team.

Position Highlights:

• Three openings available
• Shift options:
  • Two positions: 3 twelve-hour shifts, 10:30 AM - 11:00 PM
  • One position: 3 twelve-hour night shifts, 6:00 PM - 6:30 AM
• On-call requirement:
  One 24-hour weekend call per month (Saturday or Sunday)

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive perioperative nursing care to cardiovascular surgical patients, focusing on open-heart surgeries
• Collaborate closely with the surgical team including surgeons, anesthesiologists, and support staff to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes
• Adhere to established protocols and best practices in cardiovascular surgical nursing
• Participate in equipment preparation, suctioning, monitoring, and patient positioning tailored for cardiovascular cases

• Current RN licensure with certification or substantial experience in Cardiovascular Operating Room Nursing (CVOR)
