Explore Charleston, SCA historic peninsula wrapped in a healthcare market, Charleston, SC draws travel RNs to the Low country. MUSC Health and Roper St. Francis Healthcare carry much of the region's care, staffing surgical suites and med-surg units across their campuses. Many travelers base in Mount Pleasant, North Charleston, or Summerville, all within a workable commute of the central hospital districts, and contracts surface across that wider Low country footprint rather than only on the peninsula.
Summer humidity is real, so it pays to line up housing with a short drive in mind. Days off lean coastal. A walk past the pastel houses of Rainbow Row, harbor views from the Battery, or an afternoon along the waterfront is the usual trade for a long shift.
