Assistant Project Manager/Project Engineer

- Assist with the preparation of project work plans and submittal documents
- Assist with solicitation of quotes, materials procurement, and equipment rental
- Manage subcontract processes and serve as a point of contact for vendors and contractors
- Interpret engineering design documents and ensure compliance with project requirements
- Field layout of Dig Safe markings and managing the “Call Before You Dig” process
- Prepare and submit project schedules and permit applications
- Create and maintain important databases, spreadsheets and perform data analysis
- Coordinate with field personnel and promote compliance with safety standards
- Attend pre-bid meetings and bid openings, and aid in the bid and estimating process
- Organizing and printing project plans and specifications, prepare closeout documentation
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Self-motivated, ability to multi-task and prioritize multiple projects
- Able to work as part of a diverse project team and independently with limited supervision
- Must possess a valid driver’s license with clean driving record
- Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business or equivalent experience
- Experience with Procore, HCSS and AGTEK is a plus
- Prior construction experience preferred, training will be provided for the right candidate
- Office work primarily located at 11 Bartlett Road, Gorham, Maine 04038
- Occasional travel throughout Southern Maine will be required during working hours
- Use of a company vehicle and/or mileage reimbursement
