Join Maine Health Maine Medical Center's Outpatient Pediatric Feeding Program, where you'll work alongside a collaborative team dedicated to improving the lives of infants, children, and their families. This is a unique opportunity for an Occupational Therapist with a strong interest in pediatric feeding, swallowing, sensory integration, and developmental therapies to build a rewarding specialty practice in a nationally respected healthcare system.

What

You'll Do
  • Provide evaluation and treatment for infants and children with feeding and swallowing disorders.
  • Develop individualized treatment plans that support safe, functional feeding skills.
  • Partner closely with families, caregivers, physicians, speech-language pathologists, dietitians, and other specialists.
  • Address sensory, oral-motor, behavioral, and developmental factors impacting feeding success.
  • Help children gain confidence, independence, and improved quality of life through evidence-based interventions.

We're Looking For
  • Licensed Occupational Therapist (or license eligible)
  • Experience or strong interest in pediatric feeding and swallowing disorders

Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)

Education:

Graduate of an AOTA accredited Occupational Therapist program required.
License/

Certifications:

Current applicable state(s) temporary/permanent license as an Occupational Therapist required or in compliance with the state practice act. Current BLS certification required or must obtain within 30 days of start date. Positions in Home Care will require current valid Driver's License with vehicle available for work covered by liability insurance as specified by agency policy.

Experience:

One year of experience working in a hospital, long-term care, home, school system or outpatient Occupational Therapy department preferred.
