Local company needs a Human Resources Manager who will be responsible for all aspects of human resources. This company is in the northwest area of Nashville.

The client seeks an experienced manager who is an effective communicator and capable of working independently. The selected candidate will partner with management to meet corporate objectives and enhance productivity and morale. Will have human resources oversight for both salaried and hourly employees.

Responsibilities
  • Responsible for recruitment, employee relations, employee development, training, and employee communications
  • Plan, implement, and evaluate HR policies, practices, and procedures.
  • Promote positive plant culture by implementing initiatives that enhance employee engagement, satisfaction, and retention.
  • Responsible for compensation and salary administration
  • Ensure compliance with all employment-related federal, state and local government laws.
  • Manage administration and communication of benefit programs.
  • Manage administrative transactions such as hires, promotions, performance reviews, and terminations.
  • Coaching and counseling
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or a related field is required. MBA preferred.
  • Minimum three years’ experience as a human resources manager, with well-rounded earlier generalist experience.
  • Must have experience working in a skilled hourly worker or manufacturing environment.
  • While this is a Monday to Friday job, this is a 24/7 working environment. Should have experience working in a similar situation.
  • HR certification, SPHR or PHR is preferred.
  • Should have knowledge about OSHA and safety training.
