Position Summary

Avesta Housing is seeking a dedicated and service-oriented Property Manager to oversee the operational, financial, and compliance health of a diverse portfolio of properties.
In this pivotal role, you'll collaborate with site management and maintenance teams to deliver exceptional customer service and a quality living environment for all residents. You'll guide the day‑to‑day operations—from move‑ins and lease renewals to inspections and financial management—ensuring every detail aligns with Avesta's mission and core values. You'll work closely with Resident Services Coordinators, resident associations, and local organizations to create engaging activities and support a welcoming, inclusive atmosphere.
Responsibilities- Collaborate with site management, maintenance, and Resident Services to provide excellent customer service.
- Oversee day‑to‑day operations: move‑ins, lease renewals, inspections, and financial management.
- Ensure compliance with housing regulations and company policies.
- Coordinate community engagement and activities with resident associations and local partners.
- College degree or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.
- Experience managing multi‑family housing and familiarity with contract preparation and budget monitoring.
- Knowledge of general accounting principles.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel between properties.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, tact, discretion, and problem‑solving skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and written/verbal communication in English.
$25 - $28 per hour (full‑time, 37.5 hours/week)
Work LocationOn‑site position in Gorham, ME, with travel between properties in and around the area.
