Dimensional Inspector

Job Description

CoWorx Staffing Services is seeking a Temporary Dimensional Inspector in the Gorham, ME area. The Dimensional Inspector ensures that all products meet quality standards before they move forward in the production process. You’ll inspect parts, verify measurements, review blueprints, and help maintain the accuracy and reliability of our quality systems.

• Inspect production parts, including first-piece, final, and incoming outsourced items.
• Review blueprints and specifications to ensure product accuracy.
• Record inspection results and enter data into the quality database.
• Recommend process improvements when needed.
• Monitor and maintain measuring tools, ensuring proper calibration.
• Use precision equipment such as CMMs (Coordinate Measuring Machine), height gauges, calipers, and micrometers.
• Analyze quality data and assist in identifying root causes of defects.
  
  Verify that all equipment meets calibration requirements.

• Degree or certificate in manufacturing or a related field preferred, but not required.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Basic math, trigonometry, and ability to read technical materials.
• Ability to multitask and work effectively in a team environment.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and stretch for extended periods of time.

• Schedule:
  
  Temporary, Monday–Thursday, 6:00 AM–4:30 PM.
• Four-day workweek with optional Friday overtime.
